A custom-designed spec mansion being built in Scottsdale, Arizona, has hit the market for $9.4 million.
Located in a planned community, the residence is set to have more than 8,000 square feet of interior space, plus a backyard replete with amenities for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, according to Rashied Arekat with Z Luxury Group at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Arizona Properties. The agent, who also is the owner and developer of the property, brought the home to the market earlier this month.
“The estate’s entertainment features, open floor plan and innovative design make it the pinnacle of luxury living,” Mr. Arekat said in a statement. “Every element of the home has been planned to reflect the modern needs and wants of today’s residents.”
Sitting on 2 acres, the design was a collaboration between award-winning Arizona architects and designers from Illini Design Group, JWoods Design and CfDesign, according to the listing. It features hardwood floors, 14-foot ceilings and glass doors that open to the outdoors.
Five bedrooms and seven bathrooms are planned, with a primary suite featuring a ceiling-height marble fireplace, a coffee bar, two dressing rooms and a bathroom with a soaking tub and an attached private outdoor shower and spa, according to the listing. The main bedroom suite offers privacy, as the four additional bedrooms, each with a bathroom and walk-in closet, are on the other side of the home.
There’s also an expansive game room, an oversized wet bar, an open-concept morning room and a temperature-controlled, eight-car garage, according to the listing.
A slate of outdoor amenities make the home “an entertainer’s paradise,” including a pool with a swim-up bar, a spa and an elevated deck with a firepit and lounge area with views of the McDowell Mountains, according to the listing. There’s also a pool house, a full-sized sports court, a gazebo, an outdoor kitchen and two dog runs.
The home is set to be completed next spring, according to Mr. Arekat.
The underlying property sold for $1.01 million in 2021, according to records with PropertyShark.
